Job Role: Graphic Design and Videographer
Area: ST12 9DQ
Hours: Standard hours are between 9.00am to 5.30pm, 40 hours per week. However, flexibility will be required to work early mornings or later evenings to accommodate networking events for example.
28 days’ holiday per annum, plus one additional day per year of service – up to 33 days.

Our businesses are rapidly expanding, and we pride ourselves on our high standard of work and the excellent service that we offer, providing bespoke solutions for our clients.
Based in the Planterra Business Centre, OakHouse Professional supports the marketing needs of all of the companies based within the centre. This currently includes Blue Iris Landscapes, Japanese Knotweed Expert, ProHort, Planterra, The Oak Pot Company and The Barlaston Tool Shed.
About the role:
As a graphic design and videographer, you will work alongside our Marketing and Business Manager to provide support for graphical and video related projects.
Duties will include;
- Working closely with the Marketing and Business Manager to assist in the development of marketing strategies.
- Taking the lead on the creation of company visuals, including graphics for the website and other marketing materials.
- Taking the lead on the planning, filming and editing of company videos.
- Supporting the marketing team with the implementation of all marketing campaigns as required.
- Confidently offering creative input and suggestions when required.
- Communicating with external service providers as required.
- You may be required to assist with events – pending future social changes and updates.
- You may be required to attend networking events on behalf of the companies.
About you:
- Minimum 9 GCSE’S A* – C Grade (including English, Maths and ICT)
- Graphic design, photography or videography qualification preferred and/or relevant work experience.
- Experience in project management. [preferred but not required]
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and results driven, eager to learn and motivated by targets.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- You will want to promote the companies using social media and in your general day to day affairs.
- A genuine passion and interest in marketing, graphic design or videography.
As you will be working amongst other staff in the office it is important that you can work well as part of a team and are willing to help and support other members. As one of your most important aspects of your role will be answering the phone, it is crucial that all calls are answered and dealt with professionally and efficiently.
