Job Role: Permanent, Full-Time Secretary/Client Manager
Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 D.O.E.
Area: ST12 9DQ
Hours: 40 per week, some flexibility may be required. 9am-5:30pm Mon-Fri however you will be expected to work 8am-1pm on a Saturday approximately every 2.5 months, this time will be taken back in lieu to suit.
28 days’ holiday per annum, plus one additional day per year of service – up to 33 days

About the role:
We are looking for a confident individual who is comfortable with talking with clients both over the telephone and face to face. You will be expected to manage our clients through booking in site visits, writing professional quotations and creating landscape garden designs via CAD and presenting these. In your role you will be working closely with the office team, surveyor and potentially some of the onsite team.
Once full training has been given, essential Duties will include:
- Communicate with customers via phone, email and letter;
- Create reports using a company template and update spreadsheets where necessary;
- Update the in-house system with notes;
- Answer incoming telephone calls;
- Take the lead, after training, with CAD drawings for landscape designs;
- Visit clients to take measurements of their garden and gain a clear requirement brief;
- Present CAD drawings to the client and working within their desired budget;
- Typing quotations accurately from audio recordings or CAD drawings;
- Pricing for quotes and materials;
- Binding documents;
- Provide ongoing support to the rest of the office team;
- Scanning;
- Shredding;
- Photocopying.
Other duties may be required.
About you:
- Minimum 9 GCSE’S A* – C Grade (including English, Maths and ICT);
- Competent using Microsoft, specifically Word and Excel;
- Intermediate computer literacy;
- Ideally experienced with CAD or similar but a creative flair is a must;
- You will be well presented
- Warm, friendly manner.
- Self-motivated;
- Efficient and well organised;
- Time management skills;
- Work to a high standard, showing attention to detail, showing care and thought in all that you do;
- Good verbal and written communication skills with other members of the team, clients and suppliers.
The ideal candidate will be a warm, friendly person that communicates well and finds it easy to engage with a wide range of people. Having good IT skills and an artistic flair, you will enjoy working closely with clients to achieve a garden design that they will be delighted with.

Training:
Training will be provided, especially in relation to the design software.
